Blaženka Divjak

Prof. Dr. Blaženka Divjak, PhD, is a Full Professor of Mathematics and a Scientific Advisor in Information Science at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI). She is an accomplished leader and international expert in digital transformation in education and learning design.

Her areas of interest and expertise, in addition to mathematics, encompass AI in education, curriculum development, e-learning, learning design, assessment, learning analytics, and strategic decision-making in higher education. She has served as a coordinator and researcher in over 30 international projects. Currently, she is coordinating the Erasmus+ project “Innovating Learning Design in Higher Education” (iled-project.eu) and has recently concluded the projects “Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills for European Teachers” and “Relevant Assessment and Pedagogies for Inclusive Digital Education” (rapide-project.eu).

She holds the position of Vice-President at the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SOLAR) and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Research Alliance for AI in Learning and Education (GRAILE). Dr. Divjak leads the Learning Analytics Laboratory at FOI, which has developed the widely used collaborative web-based learning design software BDP (learning-design.eu).
