Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an area of strategic importance and a key driver of economic development that can provide solutions to many societal challenges. Croatia has taken positive steps in building an ecosystem to support the development of AI, but now is the time to lay a solid foundation for cooperation between all key stakeholders, the AI community, academia, and the State. Through the discussion in this panel, we want to define the key determinants, obstacles, and opportunities for future national and EU development in the field of artificial intelligence.
