Matija Ilijaš

Matija is a computer science major experienced in computer vision and machine learning. In 2014 he joined Microblink as a student and developed the company’s first deep neural network. He went on to build and lead the company’s machine learning team which at that time positively impacted more than 100 million end users with its state-of-the-art solutions. Later on he focused on building the company’s AI department and helped transform Microblink into one of the leading providers of AI technology.

Today Matija is the VP of Engineering for AI at Microblink, responsible for the company’s AI engineering efforts and strategy.
