Stefan Nosović

Stefan Nosović received the B.Sc. degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from University of Sarajevo, M.Sc. and Dr. rar. nat. from the Faculty of Informatics (Department for Applied Software Engineering) from Technical University of Munich. Currently he is a member of the User Experience Platforms and Prototypes group within the Research and Development department at Siemens AG in Munich. His research interests include AI and human-computer interaction (hand gesture-based interaction in particular).

Job description: Coming from a software engineering background, Stefan uses AI technology as a tool for improving user’s experience with Siemens’ products. He has used AI for analyzing human emotions (from video, audio or textual sources), recognizing machine parts from images, detecting anomalies in sensor signals and developing digital companions for Siemens employees.
