Tomislav Vračić

Tomislav Vracic is coming from Microsoft where is working from 2016 on advising governments in Central and Eastern Europe on Digital Transformation. Prior to Microsoft, Tomislav was working in the Government of Croatia, where he was Program manager of e-Citizens system (e-Građani) and National Open Data Portal (data.gov.hr). Tomislav is also guest lecturer at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics and Business where he teaches e-Government.

Data Driven Nation

In his presentation, Tomislav will share experience of being part of very interesting projects in Latvia and Estonia, where their governments are taking decisive steps to enable IT companies to develop new innovative solutions on data. He will also explain what is Data Driven Nation concept and how this concept is being developed. Finally, we will hear about how these countries are building their competitive advantage and attracting foreign investments on data by implementing platform for development of innovative e-government services and market-ready solutions based also on the usage AI.
