Petros is the Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Architect of Fountech. He holds a PhD and an MRes. in Complexity Sciences. He works at the interface of mathematics, statistics and Artificial Intelligence, and specialises in the development of mathematical and statistical models in the context of Big Data. At Fountech he leads the scientific team that brings to life B2B, B2P and P2P AI solutions across different industries.
Petros has worked on and advised in many projects across different sectors including the energy, insurance and biotechnology sectors. As a lifelong learner he pursuits knowledge in all fields that have an impact on our quality of life, including science, technology, finance and education.
Prospex – The AI-driven sales lead generator
“Money makes the world go round” sings Liza Minelli in an old-time classic movie, “but happiness greases the axle” says South African author Paul Van Der Merwe. For a sales-person that describes their working lives. Part of the pain-points of a sales-person’s job is finding the ideal client such that they can promote their product, hopefully close a sale, and do so in the shortest amount of time possible. However, figuring out the ideal client is not a straight-forward process as they can be described by many possible features which vary between industries. In this talk we present Prospex, the AI-driven sales lead generator. Prospex combines graph theory with reinforcement learning techniques to figure out what an ideal client’s DNA looks like for any given salesperson, working for any given company in any given industry. In this talk we discuss how Prospex was born, how it can be used and take an overview into the Science behind this matchmaking engine.
